Jack Russells are known by many names; Irish Jack Russells, English Jack Russell Terriers, Shorty Jack Russell Terriers and "puddin" Jacks.
While our terriers are short legged Jack Russell Terriers, they are not "puddin" Jacks, as this name has become synonymous with a Jack Russell Terrier suffering from achondroplasia/dwarfism. Our English Jack Russell Terriers do not suffer from this genetic defect.
